Christians have the great commission to evangelize: to preach and spread the good news, however it is the Holy Spirit Himself that wins souls, circumcises the heart, as confirmed in the Scriptures in the book of the Acts of the Apostles, chapter 16 verse 14; One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message.
Lydia was apparently the first European woman to be converted to Christianity.
