The Grace of God

2 Corinthians 12 v 9

My grace is sufficient for you

Ephesians 2 v 8-9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

Acts 4 v 12

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved

The Grace of God, that is the courteous goodwill of God is exhibited by the atonement of and for our sins (Romans 3 v 23; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God), by our Lord Jesus Christ. This is sufficient for us, through this, those who are saved have their names recorded in Heaven. Even the possession of gifts such as prophecy, healing, pastoring, casting out demons, etc, are not in themselves reasons to rejoice, but the recording of our names in Heaven is the only reason for rejoicing. (Luke 10 v 19-20; Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on [d]serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”)
