God in The Scriptures strictly forbids the worship of Angels, therefore those that disobey that command can easily be identified, it is either you worship angels or not, however false humility can be tricky. Humility can be defined as a modest or low view of one’s own importance; humbleness. So, how do you identify those that put on false humility? Well, time and God Himself is the One that exposes those that put on false humility. Some forms of organized religion, if not all forms, have a habit of proofing God right when God says He hates religion in Isaiah chapter 1:11-15;
“The multitude of your sacrifices— what are they to me?” says the Lord. “I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats. When you come to appear before me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts? Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations— I cannot bear your worthless assemblies. Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals I hate with all my being. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood!
Whenever I hear anecdotes about a certain religious “man of God”, they were all about how “humble” he was. Until a teenager (out of the mouth of babes) brought a certain viral video to my attention, wherein the so-called “man of God” claimed to have powers that even Jesus Christ cannot equal. By the way, he did not literally say this, but in his ignorance, he did not realize that, metaphorically, this was what he was implying. When Jesus Christ said in John 5:28-29; “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. Christ meant ALL, however, when the so-called “man of God” says he would kill some people so thoroughly that they would not wake up on resurrection day, irrespective of what the “victims” have done to this “man of God”, this is a contradiction of the word of God, and ignorance of the highest order exposing false humility.
Revelations 22:8-9; I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”
Revelations 19:10; At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”
Colossians 2:16-23; Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration, or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. 18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. 19 They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow. 20 Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules: 21 “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? 22 These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. 23 Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
