From the richest man in the world according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index that is Jeff Bezos to the baby that is born (who literally does not have a single dime ) at the moment anybody is reading this post, we are all souls renting a physical body from God, with period agreement that only He knows.
The sad part of it all, is that some of us, at one time or the other, think we are the Landlord, until the expiration of the contract agreement. Before which, we try all sorts of things to perpetuate the illusion, including attempting to duplicate ourselves through other tenants (our children), or material legacies such as buildings, ideas and other things named after us.
A loved one of mine once researched her family history going back five hundred years, this made me think about what the family line of Jeff Bezos will know about him in five hundred years from now, and how relevant he will be to their lives then. One thing is certain, despite all his money, he will not be alive then. Which goes to show that we are all tenants renting organic material from God. God is the landlord, and the tenancy agreement is for a limited time period.
So, the important thing is, at the end of the tenancy agreement, when the Landlord calls you to give account, including how you used His property, what added value you contributed to Him, his properties and space. Your soul better have something that He considers favourable, or where you get to spend the other side of eternity will not be to your liking. Open your inner eyes and ears and focus on the real deal. Nobody lives forever in the flesh, satisfying the flesh means you are focusing on what does not last. You are born with a soul that lives after your body is gone. Therefore, where your soul gets to spend the main side of eternity should be your concern. Eternity is a really long time for you to spend it in a shithole called hell. Loving God and loving each other will guarantee you spending eternity with God. It is not rocket science.
